ABOUT ME
I'm a first-generation college graduate raised in a hardworking immigrant family, where resilience wasn't optional—it was how we lived. I worked my way through UC Davis never imagining my career would take me from event planning to building software at one of the world's leading tech companies.
I started in event planning, coordinating 80+ high-stakes events and managing six-figure budgets. That led me to Affirm as an Executive Assistant, then to Cisco Meraki, where I quickly moved from supporting leadership to designing the systems that helped a global technical organization scale. I built onboarding programs, operating frameworks, and processes that became company-wide standards. Work that required equal parts strategy, execution, and an obsessive attention to detail.
Then came the pivot. A data-heavy project at Meraki made me realize I wanted to do more than manage systems. I wanted to build them. So I taught myself to code. What started as curiosity turned into an intensive bootcamp, an apprenticeship, and eventually a full-time role as a Software Engineer on Meraki's award-winning Dashboard API team. I spent three years shipping features in React, TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, and PostgreSQL—building integrations, analytics tools, and API functionality used by thousands of network administrators worldwide.
Outside of work, I'm a former certified personal trainer who's still deeply invested in health, strength, and sustainable routines. I'm currently building a fitness app, chasing two young kids around the Bay Area, and constantly looking for balance between ambition and everyday life. Whether it's Pilates, trying new recipes, or exploring new places with my family, I believe the best work comes from a life that's full, intentional, and grounded.
